John Boy & Billy host one of the most popular morning radio shows in the South, so it makes sense that their schtick would be spun off into a series of albums -- or, in the case of John Boy & Billy's Country Race Tracks, a collection of country hits heard on their racin' show. John Boy & Billy's Country Race Tracks is actually a lot more entertaining than a lot of contemporary country collections, since it leans toward rowdy, rootsy traditionalist country, including selections from Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, the Tractors, BR5-49, Blackhawk, Steve Wariner, Asleep at the Wheel, Steve Earle and Alabama.
