Matthew Fox of TV's LOST is in negotiations to play a contract killer in Billy Smoke, an upcoming film for Warner Bros. The film is based on and adapted from the Omni Press comic book series that is scheduled to be published later next year.
Fox would portray the title character, a hit man who almost perishes during a botched job. The near miss causes him to reevaluate his profession and he comes to the conclusion that the only path to redemption is through the old "eye for an eye" concept, by eliminating the world of hitmen and assassins.
If this character takes off and movie roles continue to come Fox's way, he'll have a rich career to look forward to long after LOST gets put to bed.
